EYE FATIGUE, TIPS TO GET RID OF IT

Tingling, headaches, dry eyes... facing screens, your eyes work non-stop and their muscles lose flexibility. It's time to close your screens and follow our 10 tips and tricks to fight eye strain.

MOVE YOUR SCREEN AWAY

Keep your screen at least arm's length away, looking above the top of the screen, so you never look up to see it.

PLAY WITH LIGHT

Rebalance the light intensity of your screen, so as not to have too strong a contrast between your computer and the surrounding light.

BE STRATEGIC

Avoid placing your screen facing or back to the window! In both cases, the differences in brightness exhaust the eye muscles. Daylight should be either left or right of the screen.

TAKE A BREAK

Your eye hides a set of muscles, some of which are related to concentration: we therefore take breaks regularly by going for a glass of water, for example!

PRACTICE PALMING

Place your hands over your eyes, making a small hollow with the palm and make the total black. The heat-dark combination helps to relax the eyes and regenerate them.

BLINK

Your eyes make about 1000 blinks per hour... But in front of a screen, this figure is halved, which prevents the eyeballs from hydrating and the brain from resting. So we blink at all costs!

MUSCLE YOURSELF!

Direct your gaze up, down, right, left, without ever moving your head; make a circle around you with your eyes; look away, then close as quickly as possible.
