Warranty Policy

Warning

We recommend that all shipments be inspected upon arrival. Please note any damage to boxes when signing for shipment.

  • Promptly report any loss or damage to our customer service

  • Notification must be made within one week of delivery. Otherwise, Opal reserves the right to refuse your claim.

  • Keep all packaging until the end of the trial period in case of return

All OPAL products purchased from resellers are not eligible for warranty. 

We only sell spare parts for customers who purchased products directly from OPAL.

Our standard warranty is at least one year from the actual date of delivery. The warranty period only applies to original products.

Your product is guaranteed to be free from manufacturing defects, however, if there are any manufacturing defects, please report them to OPAL after delivery, so that we can send you replacement products. Please note that the replacement parts are the same version as your original products. We do not provide upgrade spares under any circumstances.

"Faults", as defined in this warranty, are imperfections in materials or workmanship which prevent the use of the product.

OPAL shall in no event be liable for incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover:

  • Defects caused by incorrect assembly

  • Defects occurring after purchase due to product modification, intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse or neglect

  • Normal wear due to age

  • Labor or assembly costs

All OPAL warranties are limited warranties and are limited to the original purchaser with proof of purchase. In some cases, wear can be amortized for the life of the product.

Product warranty

All eligible OPAL products are covered by a limited, non-transferable warranty for the duration listed below under normal use.

A failure is a mechanical failure or defect in the unit that affects the user's ability to operate the product as intended. If the failure is determined to have been caused by misuse or abuse of the product, replacements and return shipping will be the responsibility of the customer.

We hereby cover all OPAL products for a period of:

3 years : all the parts and components of the aluminum models, namely:

  • OPE-17
  • OPE-18
  • OPE-19
  • OPE-36
  • OPE-37
  • OPE-38

2 years : all metal and mechanical components, parts and components of metal models

1 year : all laptop stands

Buy new spare parts for your OPAL products.

Replacement parts are now sold separately for OPAL products, which are purchased directly from OPAL only.

All damages to purchased parts or return/exchange requests must be reported to our customer service team within 7 days of delivery. If you choose to return the purchased part, OPAL reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 30% of the total value of the purchased part. Return labels, packaging, boxes and fees will be the responsibility of the customer.

Exceptions to coverage include:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Dye transfers caused by external contaminants

  • Changes made by the user

  • Products that have not been installed, operated or maintained in accordance with product instructions and warnings

  • Damage or marking of surfaces caused by sharp or foreign objects
